How to Use Chaga Mushrooms? There are many uses, and you can think of them yourself. Wild Chaga is a great addition to recipes both sweet and savory in foods as well as beverages.
We ourselves use Chaga powder inside any food (soups, salads, salty or sweet foods), just shake or mix it with food. Of course, we also make Chaga tea and make the tincture.
If you’re afraid of a mushroomy taste in your food, there is no reason; you won’t even notice it’s there 🙂
You can also make your own Chaga tea or tincture at home using whole Chaga chunks. Add honey or maple syrup, sugar, milk, or any natural ingredient.
The advantage with this approach is you can use use the mushroom pieces, again and again, to make more batches of tea and even freeze them for the most potency between uses. The tea will just be a little weaker with each use.
Simply make a black tea with Chaga powder and hot water, then add to a blender with coconut milk, cacao, and raw honey – blend and enjoy. You can also add spices (cardamom gives an exciting taste).
