How to use Chaga fungus powder
Chaga is traditionally crushed into pieces or into a powder and used to brew a beverage resembling coffee or tea. Brewing Chaga fungus powder tea is a simple way to extract the healing compounds of this versatile mushroom, by using hot water extraction.
Raw Chaga powder does not dissolve in water and must be steeped in hot water like regular tea. Chaga has no odor and minimal taste.
To get all the active ingredients, there are two ways to make Chaga tea: you can brew it for a few hours or let it steep in hot water for 12 hours. The time may be extended or shortened. You can add honey, maple syrup, sugar, milk, or any other natural ingredient.
Store in a dry and dark place.
