How to use Chaga?
Chaga is traditionally crushed into pieces or a powder and used to brew a beverage resembling coffee or tea. Brewing this tea is a simple way to extract the healing compounds of this versatile mushroom, by using hot water extraction.
Raw Chaga powder does not dissolve in water and must be steeped in hot water like regular tea. Products have no odor and minimal taste.
To get all the active ingredients, there are two ways to make healing tea: you can brew it for a few hours or let it steep in hot water for 24 hours. The time may be shortened, but then you may not get all the active ingredients from the tea. Add honey or maple syrup, sugar, milk, or any natural ingredient.
Ingredients
100% Wild Harvested Whole Chaga Mushroom (Inonotus Obliquus).
Note: We recommend to buy Chaga in chunks. Then you can see the quality of the mushroom and this way you can be sure that it is really actual Chaga. A brown powder can be anything, but a chunk of Chaga is easily recognized. You can also use these chunks multiple times.
Please consult your health care practitioner before taking Chaga products.
